Love the pub but unfortunately the menu doesn't include soup or indeed any starter at all. Also, on a previous visit, we had fish and chips and the fish had skin on. Very strange. Please widen your menu or I fear you will lose customers. What's happened to the lovely burgers and scampi?

We have always loved The Dog and so for my Dad’s 50th Birthday thought this was the perfect place to go. However, it was the emptiest I’ve ever seen on a Friday evening! The new menu is awful and timeless classics were “jazzed” up and just ruined the dish! You used to do the most gorgeous food and we were seriously disappointed, no one at our table enjoyed any of the food. Even the starter of bread, oil and balsamic vinegar was successfully cocked up! The staff took an age to take our order and all round a huge disappointment to previous visits! Whatever you’ve changed - change it back!
