Our first visit but hopefully not our last.We arrived in a heavy downpour and given a warm welcome. Taken to our table and given the menus. The concept of “small plates” was new to most of us but patiently explained by our waitress. After due deliberation we placed our orders. On arrival they were beautifully presented on quite large plates. Perhaps unwisely some of us had ordered chips as well and we were able to share them around. The food was delicious and two of us were brave enough to order a dessert which was also shared around. The ambiance in this fine old building coupled with a beautifully cooked and presented meal together with good service even in a busy lunchtime means we will hope to come again. Thank you.
