I took my mother for lunch and we weren't disappointed. We shared small plates of food that were incredibly well done and presented. My aged mother was well looked after, moving chairs around and accommodating her so well. We ate in the courtyard, it was so peaceful and lovely views. I'd only marked down cleanliness as we had to ask for the table to be wiped down. The rest of the place is spotless. Thanks team!

My husband and I shared the small plates with a side order of beef dripping chips. Really imaginatively presented with great flavour combinations. Was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of the food. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, will definitely be booking to go back.

The Dog at Pentrich was our first meal 'out' in 16 months and it lived up to our expectations. The food was excellent, the service: attentive as always and although masks, sanitiser and social distancing have tried to put a damper on the ambience the welcome at The Dog was as friendly as it always was.
