Had a fabulous evening, wonderful food, great service. Felt very safe in the restaurant. Our first meal out since lockdown and it was so worth the wait.

The comments I would mke are: There was a really horrible smell about the place, it smelt very much like a butchers shop, quite strange and offputting. I love baked Camenbert but the one served on Sunday was very strong and not to my taste, the bread also tasted stale. I had the Buttermilk Chicken and asked for this without dressing or slaw, but it came with both. This was very quickly resolved which was great. However, the Buttermilk chicken looked burnt, but didnt taste it. The meal also didnt need the cheese and chive waffle, this was very dry and pointless. My husband and sons meals were beautiful. We all felt very safe during the meal as the doors on the back were open and the place was spotless. so well done. As a sales note, i asked when you would be taking bookings for Christmas and was told to just look on the website as the managers would be thinking about this. From a sales point of view, it would have been more useful, if my details had been taken so that you contact me to capture my business the minute you have decided on what you are doing and a ready to take bookings. just a thought.

We have been many times, but felt the food wasn’t good on this visit. Probably won’t return.

It was fab as always. Covid -19 rules adhered to, that meant we could enjoy great food safely. The staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble

3/4 meals very good, chicken kebab not so much, poor quality chicken & tough flatbread.

Great food as always! Distance left between tables and the one way system through the pub is reassuring. Great to have our local back!

Ambiance only low due to covid and people not yet visiting, it was lovely as ever and food was amazing !

Absultly Fantastic the staff are all amazing and very professional well done all and hope to see you soon
Food was great! However, although 4 people asked ‘What would you like to drink’ No drinks came! (We were inside) so we had to chase them up twice! It’s a great Pub/Restaurant, we love it.
