I will be brutally honest. You set the bar quite high with your prices and you fell a bit short of the mark. We have eaten at Michelin star restaurants in Malta with not completely different prices, where the food and service was miles better than what we had at Fernando. Don’t get me wrong, we had a good experience at your restaurant with nice staff and nice food, and there was nothing particularly wrong with the experience, it’s just that your prices set our expectations much higher than you were able to deliver. The service was fine, but not exceptional. The food was also fine, but not exceptional. If the mains had costed, say, 20 or 25 euro it would have been a 9 or 10 star grade.
