Had a terrific meal. Everyone was delighted with the evening although one was not so keen on the sweet (rhubarb). We thought he was mad!!!!

Food was to a lesser quality than in the past. Scollops came out at almost room temperature. Service was okay, one mistake on a drinks order and food seemed a bit slow to come out however. The ambience was similar to past experiences and what you’d expect from the place - good. Cleanliness is what really let the place down. In spite of the fact we’re in a global pandemic and there’s ever growing legislation coming out because of it, the table clearly hadn’t been wiped since its previous occupants - plenty of salt strewn over it and quite sticky, likely due to a spilt drink. Overall disappointed compared to past visits to the same restaurant.

We had a lovely evening at the Hayloft - the food was delicious and the front of house staff fantastic. We'll definitely be back :)
