Very disappointing vegetarian moussaka but I was given free drinks when I complained : if there hadn’t been the govt scheme reducing the price I would have been more disappointed. As a vegetarian the choices were poor .

We had lunch on Friday lunchtime and it was a real joy. The food was really good and the service was very friendly and efficient. I cant fault the place! The hygiene was good and they have followed statutory guidelines for the current conditions. Absolutely brilliant experience. Many thanks

Steak was brilliant was made better that the fat on the sirloin was cooked crispy so wasn’t chewy. Will be back for breakfast as the menu for that looks lovely

Enjoyed the food and the great service, but disappointed to be given the most expensive wine when asked for glasses of house wine. We thought the wine prices were expensive.

OVerall we were happy, nice friendly service and the food was tasty - but we felt the main courses let it down a little though. For instance my wife was supposed to have Jasmine rice but it was just plain rice (big difference for someone who loves Asian food!), I felt my lamb portion was quite stingy for the price and the presentation of both of our main courses was not great, pretty much thrown on the plate. Starters were very nice and much better presented (my scallop dish especially looked beautiful!) and the cheese board was very generous with lovely cornish cheeses - chairs did start to get a little uncomfortable after nearly 2hrs, might just be the area we were sat though.
