The Hayloft is a 19th century hay barn that was an intrinsic part of the spice route between Penzance and London. Having been a restaurant for 40 years, the Burns family bought The Hayloft in 2016 and have been renovating the building back to former glory.

The Halibut was particularly good, and it made for a very pleasant first Saturday night out following lock down

The worst meal ever. It was inedible. I was so looking forward to our meal. The portion sizes are way too small, and to have veg and potatoes was £8 extra. Total rip off. My pork was awful, I sent it back and it came back the Same. No crackling just a rubbery top. Meat was too tough to cut with the knife let alone chew it. I refused to pay for it and definitely won’t be returning. Awful place.
