We only live down the road and have often eaten at the Hayloft, but on this occasion we were very disappointed with the food. The Menu was far too complicated, I was in a party of four and we were having difficulty in finding something we liked. I know it's good to have some diversity and your own 'signature' dishes but I feel you need to keep some old favourites on the menu. I didn't have a dessert (which s unusual for me) because they were overpriced and unappetizing. £6.00 for ice cream??? It's a pity because we enjoyed Sunday lunch there a couple of weeks ago.

We were looking forward to our meal but unfortunately the food let down every other aspect of The Hayloft It was very overpriced for what we chose and my dish in particular lacked any sort of presentation. I would go as far to say it was the type of dinner I sometimes buy from a well know supermarket ! I would recommend checking the menu before you book.

This is my 3rd time to The Hayloft and I cant fault it in any way. I have been fkr dinner twice and the last was post covid for a lovely Sunday roast which was gorgeous. Staff and venue have adapted well to current situations and nothing has effected the lovely cosy atmosphere and wonderful food. Highly recommended

Burnt yorkshire pudding, overcooked and tough beef, mushy vegetables all served cold or slightly warm. V Dessert was better.
