We’ve been visiting since you opened in the Pock location and have never had a bad meal until this visit hence the lower score above and I’m taking the trouble to write a review as I’m sure this is a training issue as you work to expand into two locations. The halloumi salad I had was good but the Bhaji burger had an unpleasant bitter taste not like normal is so my wife mainly ate the fries. We did mention this to the waitress at the end and she took the message back to the chef. She came back to say the chef had tasted it and agreed it was not right. However there was no apology or reduction in the bill hence the reduced service score also. One final thing was in relation to the table layouts which meant we were very close (less than 1m) to another very large party of visitors. There was plenty of room in the restaurant and no need for anyone to be seated in breach of Covid regulations so I think some staff training is needed there also and some rearranging of tables or addition of a Perspex screen in the wall gap where we were sat. We look forward to many more excellent meals at JJS so hope you can use this feedback to make sure this was a one off experience as it must have been incredibly difficult for you in the restaurant business over the last few months.

Really impressed. Couldn’t fault a thing. Food was fantastic
