Lovely cosy atmosphere and the food was very pleasant. The only point that I would raise is that the staff seemed a little short with customers due to being busy. There wasn’t a great deal of assistance at the carvery either. A chap in front of me struggled to fill a plate for himself and one for his child. The apple sauce was also mistaken for suede by our party (and those around us at other tables) as it wasn’t obvious until we sat down.

We came at 7:30 and the carvery was just about empty along with the salad - what we got though was very nice
