Hi. All of the food was delicious - the problem was getting it ordered and delivered. We struggled to get anyone's attention to place our order and, despite arriving early (7:15) for our 7:30 booking, we weren't informed that sushi orders needed made by 8:30 until 8:23, after finally getting to place an initial order at 8:15. In the past , at other sushi restaurants, I've ordered some items, assessed whether we're still hungry, and ordered some more. All-in-all, not the 60th wedding anniversary dining we'd hoped for my parents. Great food - disappointing experience. And we had to clear the plates from the first round ourselves to make space for the second round of sharing plates when they arrived. We kind of felt we were stuck at the dark distant end of the room (we lit the table lamps ourselves), beyond the waiting staff's concern.

I have sent a message on Facebook messenger and the media team said they were passing it onto a manager. It explains why I felt the service was so poor.

Excellent food and the staff were very friendly, although the service to begin with was a little slow

Couldn’t fault the food - it was delicious. Service was terrible. Had to ask to order our food as we had been waiting so long. We were then sat with empty plates and glasses when we could have easily bought more drinks and food if someone had come over. We then had to ask to get the bill. A shame as the food was so good!

Unfortunately , the service was very very slow. Whilst we expect the food to come as and when it is prepared, two dishes ( for the same person ) took forever to arrive. One of them never made it to our table but still appeared on the bill. Bizarrely we were given a complimentary dish but still didn't receive the one we ordered ( someone else returned that one?)I would have preferred the one we had ordered than a replacement with something we hadn't. Also two of the party ordered Poke bowls only to be told you weren't serving them. It would have been good to have been told that on arrival rather than then spending more time having to make alternative choices. We were in the restaurant for nearly two hours for a simple lunch. The food we did receive however was excellent.

Unfortunately everything I went to order they didn’t have so was slightly disappointed about 4 dishes I asked. The lift was also out of order which we needed on two occasions.
Food was amazing, although very disappointed the dine in menu has a lot less that the take away menu. The glass and drinks all were dirty and smelly. Really off putting, when you can smell (and taste) the glass you're drinking from. The jug of water was so dirty we couldn't drink the water.
