Drinks need to be colder - we have been a couple of times now and white wine and beer is too warm.

The food, presentation, music and the waitress were amaing. However the floors in the restaurant and WC were not clean. I also found two hairs in my food.

I loved my vegan sushi and the miso aubergine, but my friend was a bit disappointed with his pork bao bun. He said the bun was a bit dense. Lovely atmosphere and great service, but a little bit too loud.

Difficult to review, so I shall list the negatives first:- 1) Service was slow. 20 minutes wait to get our drinks served. 2) The online take-away menu looked amazing, however the eat in menu has limited choice so we had to settle for something we would not have ordered had the full menu been available. 3) It would have been good to have hand sanitizer on each table as I have seen in other restaurants. Positives 1) The food was good quality. 2) The waitresses were very polite.

Great food and good service. Although we waited over an hour for one of the first dishes we ordered and it only arrived when we asked for the third or fourth time. Also, whilst I was impressed with every other aspect of the restaurant I was very disappointed to see neither chefs nor serving staff wearing masks. I eat a lot of sushi in Asia and even before the pandemic, mask wearing is pretty standard for sushi chefs in particular. I believe many of my friends judge how hygienic a restaurant is by how seriously they’re taking the current situation and I admit to being a little disappointed with Kazoku in this respect. The super delayed tekka maki was a little disappointing. But the lack of mask wearing by staff a little more so (hence the cleanliness rating). Would love to come back with extended family but believe the lack of masks may put them off so for this reason may wait a while longer to do so.
