I was hoping to be more surprised especially when paid EUR 200 for a person. I agree that simple dishes made from a few local vegetables can be worth a lot. However, when your’re served 7-8 dishes, you expect to get something extraordinary among those simply made dishes.

We went for a dinner with wine pairing, one regular and one vegetarian menu. Loved the food from both menus, but the final desert recipe contained whole ants and the dish was served as part of the vegetarian menu and was obviously not eaten. It would have ended there, but when the chef came he began by arguing that ants are not meat and therefore vegetarian, before actually apologizing and offering to replace the desert. Getting into arguments about ethical choices like being vegetarian are not something we expected from a fine dining restaurant and we left quite upset despite otherwise enjoying the rest of the experience. The waiters were actually excellent and offered great wine pairing. They were aware of the ants incident and apologized as well, but I still have to rank the overall service experience very poorly as the incident was avoidable, mismanaged and ruined an otherwise great evening.

It was far away from the luxury experience we used to have when the restaurant was based in Pacai. The biggest disappointment was the food though the service standard dropped as well.

Table reservations

The reservation system will generate a reference number that is required to cancel your reservation online. Tables are selected automatically by the reservation system according to availability and can be changed manually to enhance your experience.

Booking cancellations

You can cancel your reservation by visiting Nineteen18 home page or contacting the restaurant directly via phone +37060808950 no later than 48 hours before the time of your reservation.

No Show and Late Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so free of charge up to 48 hours before your reservation time.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours before your reservation, please contact the restaurant directly to cancel your reservation. A cancellation fee of 50 EUR per person may apply.

Restaurant Nineteen18 leaves themselves an option to cancel your reservation 10-days before the actual booking date.

Late arrival

The restaurant experience is time-sensitive, therefore we require you to be on time. If you are late for more than 15 minutes we reserve the right to consider it a no-show and cancel your reservation. Group bookings

Reservations for groups of 9 or more guests are managed manually and it is highly advised to begin the process by contacting us via phone +37060808950.
