Main courses of steak and leek pudding, lasagna and fish and chips were excellent - as always. Dessert was really disappointing, however, as the cheesecake was not up to the usual milk standard. For years it’s been a family favourite as it was homemade and unusual flavours. Last night the banoffee cheesecake was bought in and pretty bland. Sorry chef, but this wasn’t worth £4.50 a slice.

Excellent meal and welcome night out didn’t use all facilities so can’t comment on cleanliness in some areas but main routes throughout covid secure
