Whilst we had a very pleasant meal with great service, my partner developed food poisoning symptoms about 6 hours later, having had nothing else to eat. My daughter and I were both fine. We suspect the most likely cause was the peppercorn sauce that came with the steak (as we tried each other's meals, with the exception of the sauce). We have had great meals in the past and are treating this as an exceptional mistake, but thought it was worth informing you, so that hopefully you can work out how it happened and prevent recurrence.
