After an enjoyable visit a month ago we booked again for my son's birthday. After initially booking for 13 only 11 could make it after 2 cases of illness on the Sunday. Unfortunately the deposit for those two people were not taken off the bill. I thought this was a little unreasonable given the meal cost almost £300 in total and a table for 11 rather than 13 would not include an additional table space for other parties so the restaurant would not lose any revenue. Additionally I appreciate the challenges of serving large parties. However, some people had finished their meals before other had received there's, and this does not take into account a wrongly prepared meal that was only received 15 minutes after everyone else receiving their food. The quality of the food was very good as it was previously but given the lack of return of deposit and the considerable delay in some people receiving food means I doubt I will return in the near future.
