Please  be aware that inside bookings are for FOOD ONLY this is for our restaurant and not bar area. We do not currently take bookings inside for drinks. You are however welcome to book outsidefor drinks. 
 

Pleasealso note on Sunday's food is served up until 1700. Therefore bookings after this time shall be food DRINKS ONLY.

I had such a lovely time and our table was booked accidentally inside but the girl was able to put us outside which was amazing ! I felt so comfortable and didn’t feel at all worried about the covid situation defo coming back again but will be coming for food next time as only came for drinks :) keep it up swan team you’re amazing !!! X

The staff were sooo helpful and patient with us as we changed our table from inside to outside and back again! The attitude and general service were of a very high order, my wife thought the quiche was excellent and the fish very good. Thank you for a very pleasant evening. Roy.

We had booked a table as a celebration for our 30th Anniversary , on arrival we approached via the garden entrance and signed in and waited as requested by your sign , sadly we waited for a few minutes but no one approached us , we then decided to walk around to entrance , we were then greeted we said we had booked we were asked where we would like to sit and not shown to a table , as it was an incredibly warm evening we decided to go into the garden and have a drink first and look at the menu , on trying to decide where to sit we had to check the boards on tables that all said reserved but on closer inspection timings were that afternoon , so clearly had not been cleared which left me then to believe that these tables had not been sanitised , on ordering our drinks we looked at the menu given to us by the waitress we realised that this was not what we were hoping to see as main course advertised on website wasn’t on there more your pizzas burgers etc , our drinks arrived and my husband had ordered a vodka and red bull and was given a vodka and coke , sadly by this time we had decided to have our drinks and leave , I work within the hospitality catering trade all be it in schools and education and we are still sanitising 200 chairs all contact areas between all four of our daily service times , I could see no evidence of this in the garden area we sat for about 30 mins , no tables were cleared no cleaning etc , and more importantly no QR code scan for track and trace . This was our first meal out in 18 months so as you can imagine very disappointing. That said I have spoken to the manager/ Owner in the lovely farm shop in recent times and know how hard it’s been and how much they were looking forward to re opening , so I hope that you see this as constructive criticism We will try again as this is our local restaurant and I do hope that this experience was a one off

I have been to a few places since lockdown restrictions have lifted and the service has been shocking….. NOT at the swan, the service was so good, lovely staff, very prompt and organised. The atmosphere was great and the cocktails are amazing! Will definitely be going back!

1 Of our Pizza`s had 2 ( yes 2 ) dead Flies on it not one`s that just landed on it but that had been cooked. we were offered a round of free drinks but it was left to our Waitress to deal with it. No one from Management come out to say sorry. it was just oh give them some free drinks. can not fault our Waitress who was Brilliant but it should not have been left to her Will not be returning. With a Management attitude of "could not care less "

We are really grateful to all the staff who helped when one of our party was taken ill and needed an ambulance. They couldn't do enough for us and were very calm and thoughtful throughout the whole experience.

Had a lovely lunch. Only thing I would say is being charged £2.40 for a dash of soda water in red wine is a bit extreme when in most restaurants it’s free
