Limited choice for lunch but that was ok. Specials board had Aranchino with mushrooms, asked the waitress for more information, the response “I don’t know what it is “ Didn’t even bother to find out! Battered fish was hot unfortunately accompanied by slightly warm crispy potatoes and cold crushed peas! Not helped by cold plates.

We had a baby shower in the back room. The room was beautiful. The food was delicious and everyone really enjoyed it. The staff were attentive, friendly and gave us a warm welcome.

Family meet up for a day out. Excellent breakfast and nice walk and shops and tea and cake. The weather was perfect. We will be back!

Lovely staff, very friendly & polite. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our toasted sandwich.

Booking easy. Service at table good. Pleasant staff. Food excellent but took quite a while to arrive as did coffees. Disabled toilet a bit messy. Needed to be checked more often

I ordered for lunch the Red Lentil dahl, with crispy garden kale and flat bread at £11. Food served luke warm at best. Replacement ordered - advised it would take 5 to 10 minutes to reheat etc. It was my wife’s birthday which the Symondsbury Kitchen were aware of. Food temperature should have been checked prior to being sent out of the kitchen. Disappointing.
Probably the best full English breakfast we have had anywhere.Maybe add the butter beans to full English as well.
