A slightly limited menu for a Saturday lunchtime in the holidays, but I enjoyed my meal and loved the surroundings and beautiful garden.

The fish and chips was excellent-we like the light batter and the partly mashed peas. However when we asked for a dessert we were told the kitchen was closed. Another member of staff confirmed that we had received our main course so it got resolved. The problem was that no one followed up with a dessert menu once we had finished our mains so eventually I had to go looking for someone.
