Lovely freshly prepared lunch in light, comfortable cafe. Helpful, cheerful staff too.

The fish cakes had very little flavour and were soggy and although the chips were tasty they weren’t crisp. Nice salad and delicious brownie.

Very busy and staff seemed new so assume service would usually be better. Received the wrong food but we waiting for so long that we took what we were given. Very heavy on the mustard which wasn’t listed on the menu and isn’t to personal taste. Menu definitely needs expanding on in terms of description of the food to avoid this. Overall not sure if we would come back.

Limited menu was ok but too much carbs. Asked for spinach to be removed but nothing in its place..service slow

Unfortunately there was no gluten free bread available despite our earlier visit in November to ascertain GF was on the menu and our booking specified the need. My second coffee I had without milk as i thought maybe the small milk jugs were either poured the day before or all the milk was getting old. In fact the menu was rather restricted we thought. We hope it will be better next time.
We had the dahl which, whilst delicious was so small a portion for £9.50 and missing the mint and yoghurt , when we asked dthe waitress said it was mixed in ????? But that's unusual and we couldn't taste it. Our drinks arrived after our food which was also a bit odd. So overall tasty but let down by missing ingredients and slightly random service.
