Staff were attentive and helpful, especially as we arrived early because of showers and were shown to a table while our designated table was cleared and readied for us. Food was excellent.

The food was lovely, however , the fish pie was a let down . Not because of the taste , but for the price charged . It was an extremely small portion & consisted of mostly white fish & without any vegetables to accompany it , it was totally overpriced. Sorry !

Having eaten here before and we were very impressed. However the pork burger was a bit disappointing. It was described as coming with chips and coleslaw. The coleslaw was a mere wipe on the base of the bun, not as a separate item with the burger and chips. When we requested mayonnaise we were given 2, one each, sachet that held about a teaspoon of mayonnaise. The sachets are of a poor quality too. So, overall disappointed.

Far too many dogs . . . owners came in with several dogs apiece, very unhygienic. Dogs should not be allowed where food is being served, they should be left in your ample outside space.

We always really enjoy our visit to Symondsbury. Food tastey, staff lovely and helpful and above all else we love the surroundings
Despite being very busy, we were warned how long our wait would be for coffee in the morning, and time was spent offering us a table my mum could sit at (mobility problems and unable to get up from a bench), both for coffee and at lunchtime. Thank you for the excellent service - and lovely cake too!
