Not sufficiently geared up with staff for half term/bank holiday. 45 minute wait for food but, were at least honest about that before order taken.

Unfortunately, not all items on the breakfast menu were available, though we weren’t told why. Otherwise, the service was excellent.

I always love visiting Symondbury Estate, it’s such a peaceful and beautiful place. On this visit we had lunch in the tranquil courtyard and the atmosphere and food was perfect. As we couldn’t decide, my daughter and I shared the pork burger and lamb pitta. Both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

A noisy party nearby but obviously not your fault. We would have liked seasonal new potatoes including with fish dish please. Would of completed it.

The printed lunch menu seemed to have a more limited range than the one I'd read online. In particular,the online menu had a range of sandwiches, soup with the choice of several half-sandwiches and a small fish & chips for £10. None of these featured on tbe restaurant menu.

Despite there being fewer staff members, we were served very quickly and with great cheerfulness. The food was delicious and, despite there being a small menu, the variety and imagination always triumphs!
Having booked a table, surprised to be warned on being seated that our food would not come for quite a while. 50 minutes in fact. Don’t know why I bothered to book!
