We had the blue viney toastie which was a bit too ‘toasted’ for our liking and the cheese not as strong as we would have hoped

We had a really great and memorable overall experience, food was first class.

On the whole we enjoyed our meals and where we were sitting. it is worth noting that one member of the party had to return her toasted cheese sandwich twice as both were burnt. The base of the bakewell tart proved to be inedible.

We came for lunch on the strength of your wonderful winter salad with goats cheese which we had enjoyed a week or two ago. We were so disappointed! Previously we had a good portion of goats cheese and the meal was superb. This time there was a fraction of the cheese and we felt shortchanged. We did not want to make a fuss and complain but it was a very different meal as a result.
