The fish and chips was excellent-we like the light batter and the partly mashed peas. However when we asked for a dessert we were told the kitchen was closed. Another member of staff confirmed that we had received our main course so it got resolved. The problem was that no one followed up with a dessert menu once we had finished our mains so eventually I had to go looking for someone.

Lyme Bay Ladies met at Symondsbury Kitchen for our last event before the summer. We were so well looked after and the coffee is delicious. We all ordered different things off the breakfast menu and everything was perfect. Thank you for a great morning.

12 of us visited last Sunday for a late lunch. The cafe was very busy so there was a bit of a wait as everything is freshly prepared. It was definitely worth waiting for - all the food we had was absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend the Symondsbury Kitchen if you're in the area!

We were a party of 4 celebrating a 103rd Birthday. Staff were extremely helpful with the wheel chair and we were very pleased with our table location. Food and service excellent. Only negative is the wheel chair access from the car park was awkward due to the gravelly paths and the distance to the restaurant. We will come again.
