Disappointed today. We have been coming here for a long while and although there are a couple of daily specials, the main menu never changes. We ordered a chi chicken sandwich which was very greasy and for the price was insubstantial.

Visited during a weekend stay and am so glad we did, the food was just amazing. The best pork chops I have even eaten. Everything about the Sunday Roast was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely make a stop here again if passing or visiting the area. 10/10 all round.

My table for 6 was easily adjusted to 8 on Sunday morning and the table in the side room was perfect for us.I would recommend to anyone.

We really enjoyed our trip out to the Kitchen. Wonderful veggie breakfast, though we were disappointed we had to pay extra for toast. The almond croissants looked so lovely, we bought one later - and it lived up to its appearance; buttery, flakey and full of almond paste. Loved the gentle buzz of conversation around and the variety of dogs too!

We really enjoyed the veggie option of the Sunday roast but were really dissapointed that there was no option for the vegan in our party who made do with a toastie and for that reason our party of four will be unlikely to return.
This is a lovely place and has improved greatly. The food is good, the music quiet and in the background and there are no dogs which is total bliss as they have become all pervasive everywhere else...cafe's and restaurants are not environments for animals unless they are for service. The young people who serve are professional and caring. All together a very good experience and I look forward to Spring when we can sit outside in the lovely garden.
