Waited somewhat before being shown to our table so I was in pain standing. The constant flies were a real put-off. My fish wasn’t as hot as it could’ve been (baked as no batter available), and we waited for our pre-lunch tea and coffee because there was only one barista serving the whole place.

We really enjoyed our first visit to the Symondsbury Estate. The homemade burger was really good. Everyone through the estate were helpful and cheerful. A great experience thank you.

A group of 3 of us met for lunch. Two of us have been several times before and for one it was her first time. Unfortunately the first timer was very disappointed with her meal. It was described as a Summer Salad, but was not the crisp, fresh salad she expected. It contained a lot of cooked tomatoes and the consistency was almost like a soup or stew, though cold. The staff were very understanding and reduced our bill accordingly.
