Lunch menu offered something for everyone and food was very good. Visited during Storm Bert so weather not conducive for exploring the wider estate.

I have an intolerance to onion. Although it was a very cold day, everything hot on the menu contained onion! Even courgette fritters. My advice is to switch it up a bit. Use leeks instead, or more of your main ingredient

We love coming here for lunch - we went with friends yesterday and have to say we’re a little disappointed. Steak in toasties was very chewy and not very hot. Ravioli was warm - we would have liked to have mentioned this and ordered a second drink but no one was around!!

Only complaint. Used dog water bowl on the table. Just remember, not everybody loves dogs.

The front door was wedged open which meant the restaurant was far too cold at 2pm!
