Service was a bit slow 3/4 hour from ordering simple lunch to being served

We came to enjoy a family breakfast after we had checked out of our lovely cottage on the Symondsbury Estate. Our breakfasts were absolutely lovely however when we ordered croissants for my you brought out almond croissants. When we orders 2 plain croissants no one had told us you did not have these and it was a little odd to bring out almond croissants for a child. My daughter didn't end up eating anything which was a shame. A better menu for children would be good but apart from that the good was amazing, thank you.

Lovely waiting staff, run off their feet!

Not a great experience overall; food was OK but not good value, I had to wait ages for the loo because one was out of order and the other occupied for a long time. Service slow and haphazard with plates slammed down on the table in front of the wrong people without our being asked who was having what.
