Lovely day out , but on our visit this time the menu was quite limited . Need to offer more desserts not just cake if possible . Dog walkers, whilst very lovely , do not help your site with overall cleanliness !

Only part I didnt like of the full english was the overly fancy 'baked beans'. I would have preferred the simple bake beans. Didnt like the taste of the fancier version.

Our meal was a disappointment tbh. Have been before so looking forward to it. Bread fab. Caesar salad contained barely any leaves. Dressing tasty but way OTT. Daughter battled through what was an unbalanced soggy mass of cheese & mayo. Not nice. My scallops were unpleasant. Tiny. Overcooked to rubbery/stringy on one side. Under on the other. Sauce clearly just cafe de Paris butter (from the bread basket). Too sweet, overpowered the tiny scallops. Then a load of greasy pesto on top. Horrible & way overpriced for the size of shellfish provided. Thank goodness for the chips. Chicken & chips and lamb burger alright. Pity but won't rush back.
