Summer platter was a bit underwhelming. Needed a bit more variety, eg olives and/or cherry toms and/or new potatoes.

Was a little underwhelmed by the choice of menu. Only 1 meat on offer and I'm sensitive to lamb 2 other choices of main, one being fish which I do not eat, so all in all Hobson's choice. We look forward to a full menu being available again.

Lovely just smaller choice but guess that’s due to Covid so understandable.

Enjoyed our breakfast, a few points we felt should be made which would have improved the experience. The orange juice was a very basic quality, the avocado was quite hard in places, we asked for apple juice and were told there wasn't any but we were offered some to buy in the shop, I'm sure they would have done you a good deal! We asked for one of the fried eggs to be well done but it wasn't and couldn't be apparently. Perhaps unnecessary to have so many tomatoes on the fried breakfast and the sourbread toast was very hard. Thought some of the staff were a little off hand. Perhaps there could be the basic breakfast, sausage, bacon and eggs with options such as baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and perhaps smoked fish with egg. Thank you

A very disappointing visit for Sunday lunch on 6 June after a superb Sunday lunch with you only two weeks earlier. Felt like a different place. Food was extremely delayed and no-one seemed very surprised or concerned. The Brownie that 2 weeks earlier was delicious was uneatable. Hopefully this was a one off but it's such a pity as we will now hesitate to bring guests again.

Lovely setting. Was able to sit outside as nice weather and truly beautiful. Food was very nice and looked very appetising. Only let down was service for the day. Was an accident enroute which we thought would make us late. Phoned ahead to warn them, however no one answered. Managed to arrive only 5 mins after our booking time to find at least 5 staff on shift. Was shown to table, was offered if wanted outside which we wanted. Was told they would come and take our order, to aid with covid rules. We waited 25 mins and still no one came to our table so had to go inside and find a staff member. Apart from the disjointed service food really was nice and setting is beautiful.
