As always, particularly impressed with the serving staff who are always pleasant and appear to have a good knowledge of how dishes are constructed and are prepared to talk about them. Much less impressed with the parking arrangements for disabled people. The parking signs, for their vehicles, if not overgrown, could best be described as ‘dilapidated’.

Always lovely to visit Symondsbury kitchen, the food and service were excellent. We asked for the music to be turned down at one point, we couldn't hear each other talk. Being disabled, I use a mobility walker but still find the loose gravel slope down from the car park impossible to negotiate. I do wish that you would make some parking available for your disabled guests nearer to the restaurant and without a slope with loose gravel! I understand that there is one space that can be booked by calling but don't know the number for this or how it would be accessed upon arrival. Not a very accessible place to visit.

The quality of the food was fine as usual, however the portion size of the Frittata was appallingly meagre. Almost embarassingly small ,enough to deter us from returning.

Very enjoyable, food good service okay (staff run off their feet). Table surface sticky - needed proper clean, not wipeover.

Some confusion with the menu which we found more restricted than in the past. Pleased that we were compensated with a free pudding having found a plastic string in one of the salads. We will be back!
We had the burger and it was only ok, the chips were also a bit tasteless. It was taking the piss to charge £1.50 for a teeny tiny bowl of ketchup (even more so given the high price of the burger). Won’t be making the trip to eat again sadly as it’s a lovely setting.
