We have been to SK many times. I had the hake with seasonable vegetables. The veg was only cabbage, not a selection of veg as expected. Our plates were cold so the meal soon got cold too. Otherwise very nice, the cake was delicious. Lovely waitresses who made us feel so welcome. We will be back again soon I’m sure.

Booked a table, only to find it had been given away as they “forgot to put the reserved sign on it”! No apology. They were on a limited menu of 4 items. By the time they seated us at a table covered in sugar, we were down to a choice of 2 items! Apparently this was due to COVID. Complete car crash. A shame as great location.

Lovely venue, great ambience. Unfortunately the food served was virtually cold, one of my roast potatoes was grey. Very friendly and polite service, however 30 minutes to serve drinks with no apologies for speed of service throughout, did disappoint on a special day.

Good was a real let down, burnt sausage and mushrooms, poached eggs left water all over the plate, homemade beans were flavourless, wilted greens were watering and flavourless, such a shame as location was beautiful, service was great and coffee was delicious

Beautiful day & really delicious food.
Good lunch, lamb was great but roast potatoes over-cooked and dauphinois potatoes too peppery. Lovely place and great, friendly service. Dessert portions were incredibly generous and the brownies were perfect.
