They should not have been cutting MDF. It is carcinogenic and should have been cut when no one was eating in the restaurant

It was such a hot day and although staff were under great pressure, they remained efficient, up beat and friendly. The menu was reduced (quite understandable) but this did not worry us and the food ordered was delicious: a rather fussy friend commented on how his chicken salad was the best that he had had in a very long while! Windows and doors were open so as to help with a through breeze (not sure about air conditioning, therefore). Just want to say a very big "Thank you" to all staff and "Well done" working in such challenging circumstances.

I have been eating here for quite a while now and along with a friend we visit frequently for lunches. I only recently noticed that an additional amount had been added to my bill, and on looking at the menu it says 'discretionary' charge. I understand this to be optional, but as you are not given or offered a bill before paying, you will not see this and have the option to not payment this?
We made a reservation online for breakfast. It was such a lovely day, we sat outside. The breakfast menu offered many options and we were more than happy with our choices. It was excellent and would definitely come again when in the area
