Staff initially ignored us but very nice once they engaged with us. My lamb was a bit gristley but meal was good otherwise. Door to outside repeatedly slammmed shut - rather annoying! not sure we would come again.

Food was not as described. Two portions of savoury tart were served with lettuce rather than chargrilled vegetables and the tarts themselves had been microwaved. Service was slow: 20 minutes to take an order and we were ignored for long periods and never offered dessert. Very disappointing as we have had better experiences here in the past.

Very slow service , on this visit not the normal as we have been many times before , and the food was cold , sausage and mushrooms

The selection of food seemed quite limited and portion sizes quite small. There were a number of issues with our order - things left off the order, other things brought to the table we didn’t order - so we didn’t all eat at the same time.

We didn’t know that you were not providing your normal menu, so we’re disappointed although the soup was good. Very good to have a waitress from Ukraine, we welcome her.

Been quite a few times - unfortunately it’s unpredictable- either great with amazing salads or limited menu due to staff shortages etc - bookings still taken and special events still happening - don’t do both if you can’t provide a good menu for cafe customers. Plus sandwiches were small and not well filled. Great place but consistency is important and needs to be improved upon.

Delicious food and fantastic locally sourced menu. The entire team went out of there way to make sure we had an enjoyable lunch, nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to come back !

Favourite place for lunch with friends. Never disappointed, lovely atmosphere, excellent food and service.
Good food and range of drinks. We did notice an increase in price/slight reduction is "plate size" compered to pre-pandemic visits. But we will definately continue to visit.
