New owners finding their way so tempering the critique a little. Service was slow, esp given how few tables were occupied. Soup was served lukewarm but no problem replacing/reheating with a piping hot bowl-full. Apart from that, the mains were hot and tasty (beef and pork belly). Website menu has to be updated. If I'd arrived based on the web menu we would've left again. The new menu is shorter & missing some of the pub-grub staples like calamari, wings, pie or Scampi. My kids would struggle. Everything was clean and presentable, wine list was passable although it seemed a little pricier than before. Overall OK but it might be a while before we return.

The roast was delicious. Lovely potatoes, veg and yorkshire. The pork was delicious but unfortunately those that chose beef were disappointed as it was very rare and not tender

Early days for the new landlord but our Christmas gathering for 11 on Friday was faultless
