Our first visit to the pub - we are soon to be residents in the village. What a lovely experience. Well done team!

Food was scrummy and it was lovely to be warm while eating it The reason that I haven’t given full marks for the service was that there was a bit too much of it! I was asked if everything was alright and whether I wanted another drink loads of times, to the extent that it felt intrusive and was interrupting our conversation. The pub was quiet and if we had wanted anything we could have caught someone’s attention. I know it is a balance but it felt a little too much. Better too much than being ignored though :-)
