It was lovey to see the place busy and bustling. The food was fantastic, with big portions. We had a lovely mother’s day meal. I would highly recommend a visit.

The food we had was very good, although it would have been good to have more variety on the menu eg. a salad or lighter options. Some more vegetables would have been appreciated. Our table was booked for 5.15 and although we appreciate it was a very busy Sunday the food and drink took a very long time to come. We got home at 8.20 and we live in the village! Some of our family had to drive back to Oxfordshire. Unfortunately, there was no apology for the time we had to wait.

Really enjoyable. Good service, lovely food and being allowed to take the dog was a big plus. Considering it was Mother's days the service and quality were to the highest standard. Thoroughly recommend for a family friendly lunch.

The service was quick and courteous and the food was excellent and good value. All this on a very busy Mothering Sunday evening.

Our second visit, we booked in advance, disappointed our table wasn’t ready and were put somewhere else. On ordering food we asked for some crackling, we were just told point blank, no! Food took 1 hour 5 minutes to come out, disappointed that the pork had no apple sauce, no crackling and all dishes had limited veg. A real disappointment this time, our first visit was amazing! The young lad who served us seemed very rushed but, the young girl was brilliant, she couldn’t do enough for us! Unsure if we will visit again, such a shame.

Awesome food, very busy but the staff were polite and helpful. Was cold but it soon warmed up. Will be back!
