Table Booking Rules 17th May onwards:
- TABLES OF UP TO 6 PEOPLE FROM 6 DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLDS PERMITTED
- BOOKINGS OF MORE THAN 6 PEOPLE CAN BE FOR ANY NUMBER AS LONG AS FROM NO MORE THAN 2 HOUSEHOLDS
- TABLES CAN ONLY BE PLACED TOGETHER IF THE PARTY IS FROM NO MORE THAN 2 HOUSEHOLDS

Booking a Table Online

  1. Enter the number of people in your party (max 6), the date of your visit, click next
  2. Select your prefered booking time, click next
  3. Enter your mobile number without the 1st zero            (e.g. +44 7123 123456), name, email address and preferred seating area in the comments box
  4. That's it, your booked in, you will receive confirmation by email and text message

PLEASE NOTE: If your chosen time is not available or you would like to book for a party of 6 or more guests please call 0871 2003363.

T&C's:

  • Tables will only be held for a maximum of 15 minutes after the time of arrival
  • Tables are available for a period of 2 hours only 
  • Although we will try to seat parties up to 6 on the same table this cannot be guarenteed
  • We will always try to honour requests to sit guests in certain areas of the restaurant, however sometimes this is not possible at busy times and alternative areas maybe given

Table wasn’t reserved. Food took ages. Chairs were filthy and tables sticky. Staff were friendly but clearly overworked.

I have been coming to the wishing well for years, regulars my family are for sure!!! However we came on Saturday 15th for a family tea... food was not up to expectations to say the least.. cold, tough, and nothing like we have had previously... I don’t like to complain at all and to be honest for the first time ever coming to you I would have left with a bad taste IF it was not for the supervisor Carl!!! Making a serious amends! He listened, apologised, understood and genuinely made an apology worth is coming back! “Standards have slipped” at the well and why I don’t know... please please please pick things up and return to your old ways... The table & floor behind us stayed dirty for quite a while. The table was then cleared but the floor wasn’t & one of our party slipped on the left over pizza & sauces that remained scattered on the floor. This was all eventually sorted but not for a while & bizarrely not at the same time. The food was great & the price was very reasonable. I had booked the venue as a surprise party for my husband & mentioned this at the time of the booking but sadly the hostess wasn’t aware & mentioned to my husband “everyone else is round there” :-/ I mentioned this too her & she suggested I should have explained at the time of the booking. I explained to her that this was indeed the case & she then explained that there wasn’t a note on my booking? Hope this helps rectify any problems in the future. Regards Niki Taylor-Draper

We were a party of 17 and arrived for 12 and ordered main courses which arrived after about 20 mins. Food was enjoyed by all. Unfortunately the staff were soon far too busy and our plates were never cleared. We had to clear them ourselves onto a nearby table. We also ordered 6 desserts 4 for the children and we waited 1hour and 20 min for them to arrive and the ice cream had all melted to milkshake. It was a shame it seemed there was not enough staff to cope with a busy Sunday and keep customer service to a decent standard.

Overall ok, it was busy so we waited over an hour for food which is fine. Toilets in family area didnt flush/lock well so that needs looking at.

I felt that the lady helping to bring the food out was not very helpful and did not make us feel welcome when we first walked in. The bacon sandwich were served on 2 slices of dry bread without butter and were not cut. When a passing comment was made by about presentation and bread not butter we was presented with a bowl of butter pats to butter our own bread.
