Our first visit, have been waiting for a long time for Wow Yau Chow to open in Swinton. We ordered several takeaways/deliveries from Altrincham branch during the C19 lockdown. The food was a little disappointing, and the cocktails are a little weak. I found the quack fries very powdery, and not sure the cheese worked with the fries and duck? Personal taste, but maybe waiting staff could ask if customer wants cheese on the quack fries. Batter on the Dynamite King prawns was very greasy and heavy, would be better in a light tempura batter.

The second visit was much better, the staff seemed happier and less stressed after opening week. The food is tasty, but we found the fries on both visits powdery. It hasn't stopped us from coming for some good Chinese comfort food. Will be coming to try the rest of the menu at some point.

Couple of very tiny teething things, starters arrived 5 mins apart and the spring roll was missed off the one man fu. Both resolved within seconds and both the food and service were stunning
Very nice restaurant, food lovely. Service slightly rushed. Will return
