Hi, we are frequently at The Wro and usually have a lovely time . We were there over a week ago with two friends and one. has a severe garlic and chilli allergy which I reminded the young man who was serving us and asked him to check with the Chef. He assured us that all was fine apart from the Chilli beef my husband had and sat away from Elliott. Elliot had kofkas, duck spring rolls and , fries. We got the chips first and the remainder came ion cribs and drabs. We walked home (15 mins) and short Y after, Elliot was vomiting and doubled up with pain, so we rushed him to Arrowe Park hospital. I tried to call The Wro several times but t just went to answerphone, We returned for lunch in the week and I told Philip and he was mortified and very apologetic. When I returned on Saturday with my nephew , Philip was very careful sand checked tab out his allergy, which is a peanut one and has had Anaphylaxis before so everything was double checked. The food and service was very nice and as always, Philip is superb.
