We have been long time supporters of The Wro but have been disappointed recently. Last time we visited there was no Chilli. This time there was Chilli but it was dry and there wasn’t any guacamole to liven it up. There also weren’t any Spare Ribs so I had to choose something else. The website says you are open every day. We turned up last Tuesday for a drink only to find the place deserted. Also, on the website, the “Whats-on” page is always blank these days so we have to ring up to find out who is on. There seems to be a lack of management personal interaction with the guests these days which was always a nice touch previously.

We were enjoying a lovely relaxed evening, chatting with wine and food. At 10.00pm a big clean up started, including chairs being stacked on tables around us. Giving a clear message that staff wanted us (and the other 2 tables) to leave. Everyone thought this was really rude, to make us feel uncomfortable and “in the way”. It was only 10.15 at this point. Could understand if it was 11.15pm. Not a good message to be giving to your paying customers.
