IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ: Your table will booked for a maximum of 2 hours.  We politely remind you that is is the customer’s responsibility to ensure reservation requests do not contravene government guidance on gathering indoors, and with this in mind we are currently unable to accept bookings for groups of more than six guests.  All visitors to the tearoom must comply with the Government regulations on dining out, meeting in groups and the wearing of face coverings.  

When a booking is made we will securely retain your contact information for 21 days after your visit, and make it available to NHS Test and Trace if requested.  You may also choose to scan our QR code on arrival if you are registered with the NHS Test and Trace app.

We kindly ask our guests to arrive promptly as we do not have a waiting area.  Guest who do arrive early may be asked to wait outside.  Please do call us to let us know if you are running late!

We have changed the layout of the tearoom to accommodate social distancing measures in line with Covid Secure guidelines.  We politely request that you remain seated at all times during your visit, and do not make any changes to the seating arrangements.  

Remember to bring a face covering - you will need to wear one when you arrive and leave, and if you visit the bathroom.  You will be asked to sanitize your hands on arrival, and hand sanitizer will be available at your table for your frequent use.  For the safety of both staff and customers, we ask that any person who feels unwell or displays any symptoms of Covid19 does not attend.  If this is the case, please contact us before 9am on the day of your booking, and we will do everything we can to transfer your reservation an alternative date at no extra cost. 

Payment for the set afternoon tea menu will be taken electronically at the time of booking.  Additional drinks will be charged at the end of your visit and we accept both card and cash payments.

Please note that no refunds will be given, and the transfer of bookings due to Covid19 related illness is at the manager’s discretion.  Missed reservations and late arrivals will be charged at full price.
