“AMANDUS” – RESTAURANT IN THE HEART OF VILNIUS OLD TOWN IS LEAD BY CHEF DEIVYDAS PRASPALIAUSKAS

Chef-virtuoso Deivydas Praspaliauskas, who has been elected as the best Lithuanian chef for several times, has brought together a creative and youthful team in his own restaurant “Amandus” for the great purpose – to create a perfect experience serving fantastic tasting dinner. Deivydas and his team welcome guests from all over the world and treat them with unexpected combinations of flavour, that awaken inner senses, enrich body and amazes with it’s creative and aesthetic serving.

Each month we introduce new tasting menu. Tasting dinners are served from Wednesdays to Saturdays, from 19:00 o’clock.

Price per person for the tasting dinner is 100EUR (welcome drink, mineral water throughout the dinner and coffee/tea after dinner included).

Price for the wine pairing per person is 50EUR.

Amandus easily lives up to its namesake. A space named after trying to teach that everyone and everything is "worthy of love" (latinl: amandus). This concept space deals deeply with how we interact with food and with each other. You are served in the old style: over several hours with many dishes. You have time to savor them and time between to digest them properly. The body enjoys this. This space is one to cherish your time within.

Jaukus nedidelis restoranas su savo šarmu. Degustacinė vakarienė subalansuota pagal metų laikus. Siūlomi priderinti vynai, bet galima ir pagal savo skonį rinktis gėrimą. Nors restoranas nedidelis ir skaitosi vieno stalo, tačiau taip sudėliota, kad išlieka atstumas tarp kitų svečių. Mums patinka, kad visada pats Deivydas ateina pabendrauti. Tai suteikia daugiausiai vertės.

Sauce next to steak was too salty and we also found the mashroom soup/foam salty too. Other than that very tasty.
