Only less stars for service as the staff were super busy and overworked. No reflection on the staff as all fab. We waited a lot of time for many drinks. I love the pub but still hate that no bar service. Sadly lost some of that pub atmosphere. Having said that had a fab time just need more staff!

Splendid all round. Lovely to have the chance to play music after the meal and have several pints of top-notch Harveys Best for pudding.

The service was excellent & Elsie was very professional & patient she's an absolute asset. Food was really nice & a good choice, however, there was no parmesan to go with linguine, 3 of us had this dish & we were really disappointed as this is normally a standard item to serve with pasta. We would return

Both chicken meals were good but my husbands roast beef was overdone when told it would be medium or possible a bit rare as first customer to order this. Unfortunately there was a large birthday party which was rather disturbing for our elderly mother - so much noise and dogs barking did not make for a pleasant lunch☹️
