We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at the Anchor. Food lovel. Fresh locally sourced ingredients. Service great as well. All staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

We have recently moved into Ringmer so The Anchor is now our local pub and what a wonderful place it is. Lee and his staff are very friendly and efficient. Great selection of beers and wines with excellent food. Great place to visit with a lovely feel to it.

Food was particularly good; my wife's main meal was on the dry side, and she was subsequently not charged for her main course which I thought was a nice offer especially as it was her birthday. My only gripe on the day of our visit was there seemed to be customers with dogs in every direction we looked. I do not understand why people must take their pets with them when they are going out for a meal. I think with all the various smells of food especially when a canine smell is more enhanced than a human it is a complete tease and that is why dogs get restless very quickly. That was a shame.

First time visit. Excellent friendly service. Food was so very tasty. Importantly I felt safe and that safety mattered.
