Ben looked after us really well! It was my friend’s first visit to the Anchor and she loved it. You never fail to make us feel so welcome and the food is fab

Really nice attentive and friendly staff. We were initially sat at a table in the middle of a walkway and so kept getting bashed into but this was quickly rectified when we asked to move. The food was absolutely excellent and good sized portions.

Our family met for my husbands 70th+364 days birthday. Unfortunately we couldnt do so on his 70th due to Covid restrictions. Our experience, as always at the Anchor, was first class. We were a mixed age group range and we all had the best of times. Many, many thanks.

Excellent venue for our Xmas Sausage Dog Meet Up. Dogs could run free in a safe enclose environment. Nicely heated and the food and service fantastic! We will be back!

Smashing. Fish & Chips and Ham Hock very palatable. Harveys Best and Old in superb nick. Tent in garden of more-than-oriental splendour. Many thanks.
