I haven’t been here for a while, so thought we would try after been told their chips where amazing . I have to say the food (chicken burger & pulled pork burger was VERY tasty as was the chips . The service was equally as good . We sat outside which was an added bonus . Would definitely recommend

The staff at the Anchor Inn are very friendly and attentive. It’s a great atmosphere to enjoy time with family and friends having a meal and a drink.

Always feels strange leaving full marks as I wouldn’t believe them on Amazon. Food used to be a bit small for the price but portions have improved whilst maintaining the same quality compared to other locals. Not a cheap family night out but worth it for the friendly down to earth service and great food and beer.
