Staff were helpful and attentive. It wasn’t busy and had plenty of time to talk amongst ourselves while waiting for the food. Happy to recommend the pub and I understand the Sunday roast is really good

Delightful, & good to be able to play music in the snug. The pub was very busy for a Monday night & we did have to wait rather a long time for the food (about 40 minutes) but it was fine when it arrived.

Roast dinners - meat was tough, had to asked for sharper knives. Vegs good, roast potatoes undercooked not crispy. Though Salmon hot and tasty. Generous portions. Understaffed. Waited 20 mins for menus and drinks after asking a member of staff. Although staff were very friendly and apologetic . Not shown to our seats - was shown where to go by a member of staff by pointing from behind the bar. Service slow. Was delivered 2 starters to share but only ordered one. Need more staff. Xmas decs up but lacked Christmas atmosphere.
