We could not fault our food choices, two had the Newhaven fish and chips, one had the scampi and I had the seafood linguine. All piping hot; tasty; generous portions and looked good on the plates. Our only disappointment was that we were quite cold, there was an open fire which was lovely to see but even though we were only one table away we could not feel any benefit of it. However, this isn't the only eatery not putting their heating on for their customers as we've found it elsewhere but sadly we won't return until the weather warms up. We would have lingered over another drink but we were chilly so decided against. We do understand, heating is expensive but especially so in large open spaces.

More vegetarian dishes would be welcome! Apart from this, nothing to improve! The Inn looked lovely in Christmas attire.

Excellent meal, beautifully cooked, only gripe was very little pork under the crackling. But definitely one of the best local roasts

Everyone loved their meals, staff were really friendly and helpful

The food and drink was good, but the room we were in was very cold, hence we left without desert
